I wanted to have uniform sound volume as I move around from room to room. Having four speakers turned out to be the solution. From other reviews I knew that battery life would be limited, so I am reserving battery use until I need to take them into an area without an electrical outlet. Set-up was simple, just take them out of the box, plug them in, plug the transmitter into a socket and into the sound source (XM Radio), then turn on the speakers. One remote control works with all of the speakers. A note: the speaker must first be physically be turned on by pressing the speaker's on button. The remote control will adjust the volume and turn it off--but it will not turn it on. There is plenty of volume and walls or distances within the home have not reduced or interfered with the volume on the most-remote speaker. However, I have not explored the maximum distance of the speakers from the source by taking a speaker outside. All-in-all, I am very satisfied. I have noticed one speaker makes a popping sound sometimes. I am not sure why that happens, but it is minor and infrequent.

Good system for the cost. The speakers worked very well wherever placed. Sound quality was good. Easy to use right out of the box.

These lil guys are great. The longest part in setting these up was taking them out of the box. They work upstairs, in the basement and outside all at once with no cord or even plugs if you want to use the battery option. They work better I find when plugged in, I think the battery life after they play awhile begins to wear and the wirelss conection goes in and out. By no means are you going to get the best sound quality available out of these, but it is certainly not bad, and will absolutley pass mustard for an outdoor party or to place throughout different rooms of the house to set the mood.
I would buy these again for the value, convenience, and the sound quality (because for me the sound really was good enough).

I ordered the wireless speakers for a pool party and bbq that i was having. I was amazed on how easy they were to set up. the sound was great.
