Good Product January 30, 2010 K. C. Roth (LONGMONT, CO, US) These are a good set of wireless speakers for the money. They tend to cut out ever so slightly occasionally, but the sound quality is good. They suit my needs and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
Worth the money January 24, 2010 Practical Desk (Connecticut) This speaker system has been performing as expected. The audio quality is about what one would expect from a small, inexpensive speaker system, i.e., the quality is good; and the transmission range is excellent. The system is being used in a townhouse, two-story dwelling, and the signal is reaching each room in which the speakers are used on both floors. They are primarily used for XM radio, so the crystal-clear signal from the XM receiver transmits as clear audio through the wireless speaker system. If, however, there is ambient "noise" on the transmission channel, a simple push of the Auto Tune button captures another channel to transmit a free-from-ambient-noise signal. The remote control with these speakers is a nice feature; and, there's more, the system will turn itself off if no transmission is received after 15 minutes. These features are useful and the system performs as advertised. Kudos of Cables Unlimited Audio and Amazon. This is a recommended purchase.

Great Wireless Item! January 17, 2010 V. Juarez 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this as a Christmas gift for my dad. Well actually, I found them and my siblings and I split the cost. He wanted speakers that would allow him to listen to music anywhere in the house and outside the house when we barbecue. I searched the internet, and when I came across these, I looked at the reviews and decided to go with them. I chose to get 4 speakers because I figured it would be easier to have two in a more permanent location, and then he could move the other two around the house or outside.
When he opened them up on Christmas morning, he was really excited to try them out, and I was too, since I had not tried them before I purchased them (risky, I know, but I trusted the reviews). We opened up the boxes, hooked up the transmitter to my dad's stereo, and turned on the speakers. They worked great! We set the speakers up two rooms away from the stereo, and they still worked great. We've used them for parties, and we've connected them to multiple sources which include a phone/mp3 player, our tv, and a stereo.
We haven't tried them outside yet, but I'm sure they'll work fine. Understandably, you'll need a good amount of batteries if you don't/can't plug them in, but I don't know how long they'll last on battery power alone since we keep ours plugged in.
