Lasted one day July 27, 2010 mongotz (USA) Opened up and installed. I wanted the old AW-811 by the same manufacturer. Have had it for three or four years and it works fine. This one became tinney and unbearable to listen to in one day. Didn't overload, abuse or use in bad weather. It even feels cheap. Save your money.....
Works pretty good. July 18, 2010 jthonen Surprising sound from these speakers. Set up was easy, though they do chew through batteries (6 AA!)pretty quick. Overall I am satisfied with these speakers.
Excellent Product July 18, 2010 John A. Miles I've had this for several weeks now and it works great. Sound is very good for music or TV. Great product. I would buy again in a second.
Good sound, limited range July 12, 2010 T. Povar (Richmond, Virginia) Works as advertised. Bought to use outside on the deck and plugged the transmitter into my stereo receiver linked to the TV. Primary putpose was to access the music stations on our cable TV. Works much better when plugged in to a wall socket than on battery.... sound loudness is much enhanced. Transmitter's range though walls, particularly exterior walls (brick) is limited, so need to position unit at nearest spot to transmitter (about 25 feet straight line). With that limitation, unit works well and allows us to enjoy the digital music from the TV's system outside on the deck.... so does the job! Fidelity is decent given the price.
Using Itunes with iPhone July 6, 2010 shep Very nice product and east to install.
The wireless speaker is in my backyard. The transmitter is hooked to my computer that is running iTunes inside my house. There is a free iPhone application, "Remote" that can control itunes. So I just use my iPhone from the backyard to adjust volume and select songs. Anyone that I have given access to my WiFi and iTunes can also select songs and adjust volume. Great for parties.
