When I received the speakers they were double boxed and in excellent condition. The speakers are powered by a Carver "Cube", 201 watt per channel amplifier and a Carver preamp. The speakers have a deep, rich sound. My daughters who are both married have listened to the speakers have both commented that the speakers sound like good indoor speakers. My wife loves them as they are mounted up next to the ceiling and are out of the way and sound great. I think the money was well spent. My daughter that lives in Sparks wants to buy a set for her house.
