Great Outdoor Speakers for the Money December 7, 2009
Que Tal Carolyn (Now living in Illinois, formerly on a boat in the Sea of Cortez)
We used these as cockpit speakers on a 37-foot cruising sailboat. Lots of salty air and occasional thunderstorms did not destroy them in 3 years of use (we've since sold the boat, so don't know how long they've lasted). Really good sound for the money, too (I'm not an audio freak, so may miss some nuances but they basically sounded good).

Speakers blew after about two hours of listening at moderate volume. Returned them for a full refund and purchased a different set. Customer service was painless. Amazon rules!

Speaker's sound fantastic, whether turned down low or up high. Easy to Mount, only problem was they didn't send the thumbnail screw's with it and one of the nut's broke loose like you have read in other reviews if you try to tighten too much.
Overall very happy with the sound Quality in relationship to the price!
